They high-fived their UPS man. I saw it.

I sit here alone and suffering from the deleterious effects of prolonged, no end in sight isolation - the kind that Barbara Covett experiences in Notes on a Scandal. Day in day out. And this family of mommy, daddy, sons and daughters are high-fiving their UPS man when he drops off a package. In the front of their perfect $600,000 house across the street from the rundown 1940's era apartment building where I live. On a sunny day in a tranquil suburban neighborhood in Westchester, NY. I see this and tears streamed down my face. Holy shit. I actually found the exact words I was searching for - everything's on the Internet. The exact scene.

That last shot of Barbara sitting upright in bed is the exact picture of what I do most days. Same expression. Same everything. At 0:38. Perhaps taking 50 mg of Seroquel everyday would not be so bad. I could get used to its awful effects. It's not like I'm ever going to be normal anyway.
